August 29 - September 5
With La Même Chose & Luna
Wholeness in Nature Retreat
Space & Attention
Patience & Presence
Waiting & Welcoming
Listening & Love
Care & Compassion
Who am I when I make enough space inside to be with all I experience ?
What new information am I open to when I can land completely in my body ?
What capacity do I possess to encourage those around me to be connected to their own deep knowing and care ?
What is possible in our collective when we approach ourselves, each other and the world with awareness and compassion ?
The invitation is to arrive; together, on the land and into your own individual bodies. To take time and space to come to a deeper understanding of who we are in community, who we are with ourselves , who we are within the embrace of nature.
Each of us holds an important piece in bringing the whole to life. We take time in late august/early sept to co-create and connect to this whole. To harness its healing. In silence and celebration.
Come home for a week with us in the late Summer.
Turn inward and outward with freedom and curiosity.
Together to create love, revelation and connection.
PRACTICAL – PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING
This retreat is open to faeries who can join for the whole 8 days. If you are unable to attend for the duration of the retreat please register for an alternative gathering. This will be a held space and to create this security, safety and magic we ask that this is respected.
There will be periods of kindly silence each day until we gather for morning circle. This will give us an opportunity to listen to the morning song of Folleterre.
We will also share in a period of 24 hours that is specially dedicated as celebration of silence, a stillpoint, a sensory heartspace for us to abide in.
Please consider whether this is something you are able to agree to before registering, so as to honour those faeries who seek this kind of sacred space for personal reflection.
This will be an electrified music free event to preserve the natural soundscape of the Sanctuary. There is song everywhere at Folletere; the wind in the trees, birds on the prairie and the laughter, tears and love of the faeries that are called Home.
We ask that you switch off your phones on the first day and leave them off until you are ready to depart. Life is precious. So much of it is spent relating through the blue screens of our devices. Let’s take a brave step together towards intimacy with each moment.
This is an alcohol and drug free retreat. Many of our brothers and sisters are learning to negotiate their relationship with substance abuse/misuse and this retreat will be an opportunity to support one and all in solidarity and abstinence. We ask that you agree to this request before registering.
We will all share responsibility for taking care of the practical tasks that keep us nourished, protected and nurtured.
We need two or three faeries to nominate themselves upon registration to come 2 days early and help set up the space.
And two or three faeries to nominate themselves upon registration to stay for 2 days after the gathering to close the space.
Please let us know.
If you are a car driver we especially need your support for transport logistics and helping to clear the sanctuary after the event. Please let us know if this is something you are able to do upon registering.
We have a NOTAFLOF (no one turned away for lack of funds) policy for this retreat as well as GAYABAGS (give as you are able but always give something). We also have the LOTOFLOVE policy, if you can give more than the suggested daily donation please do and share your love! The money you offer for this retreat will cover the costs of food, gas, laundry, wear and tear of the house and utensils, etc as well as future improvements to infrastructure, supporting local environmental resilience and enabling those with less, to come. Please give as generously as you can. We ask for between 20-40 Euros per day.
There are 35 places available. If you register and later change your mind, please let us know ASAP so someone else can take your space. If you don’t come and don’t tell us you will be preventing a faerie sister to come…
There is lots of other practical information on the Folleterre website, please read it, especially if it is your first visit.
Abundant camping places are available around the Sanctuary for you to discover. We have tents and lots of mats, sleeping bags etc. The limited space in the house is given as a priority to those with access issues. Please let us know on the booking form if you have particular needs.
We look forward to co-creating with you.
