If my heart were a flower,
you would know how to pluck it with your beauty—
though I have always despised the plucking of roses.
You would carry it far away
into a world only I know with you,
upon the shores of Palestine
I have known for a thousand lifetimes—
and in another life,
when we were like butterflies
resting upon a single bloom.
In distance, when I speak to you
from behind the screens,
something trembles inside me—
my constant struggle with everything:
with my homeland,
and with you—
in a car,
on a mountain road as beautiful as you.
I love you
as if you were everything—
O most beautiful of causes,
O my spoiled child.
Description :
We began our journey in the desert —
beneath a vast sky that felt like judgment,
where there were no hiding places.
Our skin carried the sun.
Our flags moved with the wind.
Our bodies refused to disappear.
In the desert, we danced and cried —
and for the first time, we were unapologetically free.
That freedom is what we carry with us now,
into Folltere, into the forest.
The desert taught us heat.
Exposure.
Survival.
On September 4th, we gather among the trees —
not to escape who we are, but to deepen into it.
The desert taught us how to stand tall.
The forest will teach us how to breathe.
This gathering is an invitation to every faery inside this cosmo who wishes to heal
from the shadow of the pain of wars..
and especially to Arab faeries in Europe: Syrian, Lebanese, Algerian, and beyond.
We are not here to be reduced to wounds.
We come as full beings — light, rage, softness, joy.
We come to feel, to dance, to cry, and to reclaim our freedom.
Our intentions are simple, yet radical:
— To feel like free faeries in our own skin.
— To be unapologetically Palestinian.
— To dream in a world that tries to confine our imagination.
— To heal without shrinking our strength.
— To express ourselves without censoring our truth.
— To return home carrying power, not permission.
— To give back to Folltere in reciprocity, not charity.
The space will remain intimate: 40 participants (maximum 50).
Once full, a waiting list will open. The desert made us visible.
The forest will make us whole.
Come if you are tired of shrinking.
Come if you are ready to stand inside your own myth — without apology.
