Cette année, Claudia Chiffon vous invite à un événement généreux et glamour, à son image : La semaine de la Chiffonnade ! Couturier·e·s, mannequins, créateur·ice·s, créatures, drag kings, drag-queens, fées-shionistas et wanna-bees : c’est le moment de vous réunir pour mieux briller ***
Pour honorer Claudia Chiffon, redonner de l’amour à la Drag Room et nous donner de l’amour à travers les ésotériques arts du vêtement…

Soyons réalistes, la Drag Room avait depuis quelque temps déjà besoin d’un profond relooking :/ (ne lui dites pas que nous avons dit ça !) Nous vous proposons une petite semaine pour faire exactement cela ! Et bien sûr, comme prétexte à toutes sortes d’activités plus ou moins liées (ateliers de couture, free shop, enchères ou défilé ?! tellement d’options ***)
La dragroom aura besoin d’une réorganisation réfléchie, de réparations minutieuses, d’une circulation abondante de cosmétiques et d’accessoires ! On dit qu’il lui manque un certain…” je ne sais quoi” (des tenues drag king et vêtements en grandes tailles) : ramenez ce que vous avez!
Faisons-en un merveilleux effort de groupe ; *

Question Accessibilité & Santé / Accessibility & Health
Si Folleterre se veut un espace inclusif, les conditions topographiques et le caractère rudimentaire de la maison et des installations ne permettent pas – ENCORE – à toutes les Fées d’y participer. Le chemin menant à la maison n’est pas goudronné; les espaces de couchage se trouvent sur le terrain ou au premier étage de la maison, accessibles par escalier. Quant aux sanitaires, elles sont en extérieur et spartiates.

La vie à Folleterre implique une somptueuse promiscuité. Depuis l’apparition du Covid 19 les rassemblements sont possibles grâce à un protocole de réduction de risque : avant de venir à Folleterre on vous demandera de faire un test (antigénique c’est très bien). N’hésitez pas à nous écrire pour nous faire part de vos besoins ou si vous avez la moindre question au sujet de la santé et à l’accessibilité.

THE CHIFFONING WEEK 2024

This year, Claudia Chiffon beacons you to join an event in her own spectral, glamorous image: The Chiffoning ! Seamstresses, sewers, models, drag kings, drag queens, creatures, fashionistas and wanna-bees : this is your moment to gather round and shine ***
To honor Claudia Chiffon, give love back to her Drag Room, and give each other love through the esoteric arts of clothing…

Let’s face it, the Drag Room has been needing a deep makeover for a while now :/ (don’t tell her we said that!) We offer you a short week to do just that! And of course, as an excuse for all kinds of more or less related activities (sewing workshops, free shop, auction or runway ?! sooo many options ***). The drag room will need thoughtful reorganizing, careful mending, a lively circulation of cosmetics and accoutrements ! It has been said that it misses a certain… je ne sais quoi (drag king outfits and clothes in big sizes) : bring it if you have it!
Let’s make this a gorgeous, group effort ; *

Accessibility & Health
Even though Folleterre aim to be an inclusive space, the topographic conditions and the rudimentary state of the house and the installations can’t allow –YET – every Faerie to take part to the gathering: the path to the house isn’t paved; the sleeping areas are on the Land and on the first floor of the House, accessible only through the staircases; the sanitary “installations” are outside and spartan.

Life in Folleterre involves sumptuous promiscuity. Since the appearance of Covid 19, gatherings have been possible thanks to a risk reduction protocol: before coming to Folleterre you will be asked to take a test (antigenic is very good).Please don’t hesitate to write us and let us know your needs, or if you have any question about the topic of accessibility and health.
