The Solstice Gathering is the new Beltane, what with spring coming so late to Folleterre.

Bring ritual ideas for the big day, and also for the other days.

Our ideas are to really experience the longest day: Get up at sunrise, and go to sleep together with Father sun.

Let’s try to find all the flowers that are blooming on this Solstice day, and photograph them:

  • Perforate St. John’s wort
  • Dandelion
  • Buttercup
  • Lamium
  • Foxglove
  • Blackberry
  • Poppy
  • Filipendula (Spirea)
  • Goatsbeard
  • Comfrey
  • Columbine
  • Mallow
  • (maybe) Elder flower
  • Bear leek (bear’s garlic)
  • Rampion bellflower
  • Ragged-Robin
  • White Dead-nettle
  • Clover
  • Thistle
  • and some … 😀

In French that is:

  • Millepertuis
  • Taraxacum
  • Renoncule
  • Lamier
  • Digitale
  • Mûre
  • Pavot/Coquelicot
  • Filipendula
  • Barbe de bouc ou barbe de chèvre
  • Consoude
  • Ancolie
  • Malva/Mauve
  • (peut-être) Sambucus
  • Ail des ours
  • Campanule raiponce
  • Lychnis fleur de Coucou
  • Ortie blanche
  • Trèfle
  • Chardon-Marie
  • Peut-être plus… 😀

Of course let’s change everything there and then, just how the energy flows!
