Harmony In Nature
S.P.A.C.E Retreat
Saturday 24th August to Monday 2nd September 2019
Folleterre, Les Vogues, France.
Co-created by Wood Pigeon, Hummingbird and all of You.
The end of our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time – T.S. Eliot
Welcome to space.
Sangha & Slowing-Down
Presence & Patience
Awakening & Awareness
Connection & Compassion
Emergence & Empathy
What is possible when we slow down ? What can we hear when we take the time to to truly listen ?
What kind of connections can we create with awareness and empathy?
Who are we when we are in Nature, together with Nature ?
What new realities are possible when we share our gifts with the support of everyone and everything around us ?
Take ten whole days. turn off the phone and come home.
The Magic of Folleterre has something to say to each of us that only we can hear.
There are parts in us that want to be discovered, nurtured and shared.
Together we can bravely reunite as tribe and explore True Belonging.
Join us to explore space on the land, in ourselves and in each other.
Bring your ideas, offerings, workshops, insights, teachings and spirit to make Love bloom in the late summer..
PRACTICAL – PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING
This retreat is open to faeries who can join for the whole 10 days. If you are unable to attend for the duration of the retreat please register for an alternative gathering. This will be a held space and to create this security, safety and magic we ask that this is respected.
There will be periods of kindly silence each day until we gather for morning circle. This gives us an opportunity to listen to the morning song of Folleterre.
We will also share in a period of 24 hours that is specially dedicated as celebration of silence, a stillpoint, a sensory heartspace for us to abide in.
Please consider whether this is something you are able to agree to before registering, so as to honour those faeries who seek this kind of sacred space for personal reflection.
There will be no electrified music during this retreat to preserve the natural soundscape of the Sanctuary. There is song everywhere at Folletere; the wind in the trees, birds on the prairie and the laughter, tears and love of the faeries that are called Home.
We ask that you switch off your phones on the first day and leave them off until you are ready to depart. Life is precious. So much of it is spent relating through the blue screens of our devices. Let’s take a step together towards True Belonging of One Tribe.
This is an alcohol and drug free retreat. Many of our brothers and sisters are learning to negotiate their relationship with substance abuse/misuse and this retreat will be an opportunity to support one and all in solidarity and abstinence. We ask that you agree to this request before registering.
We will all share responsibility for taking care of the practical tasks that keep us nourished, protected and nurtured.
We need two or three faeries to nominate themselves upon registration to come 2 days early and help set up the space.
And two or three faeries to nominate themselves upon registration to stay for 2 days after the gathering to close the space.
Please let us know.
If you are a car driver we especially need your support for transport logistics and helping to clear the sanctuary after the event. Please let us know if this is something you are able to do upon registering.
We have a NOTAFLOF (no one turned away for lack of funds) policy for this retreat as well as GAYABAGS (give as you are able but always give something). The money you offer for this retreat will cover the costs of food, gas, laundry etc as well as future improvements to infrastructure, supporting local environmental resilience and enabling those with less, to come. Please give as generously as you can. We ask for between 20-40 Euros per day.
There are 40 places available. Please book soon. Also please let us know if you can no longer make it so someone else can take your space.
We have had severe water shortages over the previous summers so we are having to be realistic about the number of faeries the land can hold sustainably, without us degrading further the resources available.
There is lots of other practical information on the Folleterre website, please read it, especially if it is your first visit.
Abundant camping places are available around the Sanctuary for you to discover. We have tents and lots of mats, sleeping bags etc. The limited space in the house is given as a priority to those with access issues. Please let us know on the booking form if you have particular needs.
We look forward to co-creating with you soon.
