Dear faerie bro's and sisters from all over the world, If possible I would like so much to stop time, just to be able to share the historical events we as Euro Faeries are experiencing right now. After so many years of dreaming about land and a faerie house and another 3 of actively exploring the country, diving into every promising little road we found on our path, we have now come to the stage where we are preparing mortgage loans, ownership papers and investigating possibilities to buy more adjacent land.
As you already might have read on the new site we have signed the preliminary contract and now agreed to a mortgage for 100.000 euros.....Money obstacles we have to overcome in order to safeguard a place where in the many many years to come hundreds of people are going to experience the joy of being surrounded by nature, which such rich diversity and beauty that the day 's spent there will always be marked as soul touching and happy ones. Freed from over crowded cities, roads, noise, pollution, and a pace of life which is numbing our senses. How liberating it feels to arrive at a place where the hollow rattle produced by a wood pecker
resonates through the woods, how calming and earth connecting it's effect...The last couple of days, so early in spring, were overwhelmingly inspiring.
I started to make an inventory of trees and wild plants which were just showing their fresh faces and every new discovery felt like finding a pearl in an oyster. The land now is covered with yellow primrose's and white blooming forest anemone, wild garlic ( Allium ursinum) is just on its way, unfolding now its broad garlic tasting leaves. The flower with its many white stars still in the bud. Soon after there are going to be deep blue patches of wild field sage ( Salvia pratensis) and the ground covering of "lievevrouwebedstro" freely translated: "straw bedding of the holy virgin Mary" ( Asperula
odorata).
Now I can still count , soon diversity will be overwhelming. We are so unbelievably lucky to have found this place. In an area in the middle of Europe where unspoiled nature is a scarcity and under tremendous pressure, being part of a protected nature reserve. What a great chance to form with a growing number environmentally conscious people another ecologically funded patch in Europe. Patches that will effect first the direct region and ultimately grow and touch each other to have a lasting
influence on the the core of our future society.
What more can I say.? Please come and see be overwhelmed yourself, give your energy to the best cause you can possibly think of, be generous with that temporary stuff we call
"money."
During the Beltane
gathering April 27 until May 3 we plan a Folleterre introduction day, to have our first blessing ritual on the land.
Much love to you all, Junis
from Merlin...
Dear marvelous
Landfindresses & gift-collectors,
What a delightful spot and awesome, splendid homeland aborning!!! I
would like to express my gratitude for all your engagement and efforts
you put into this valuable project!!! This is really really great!
I very much hope that the material
and spiritual energies will work together to make this fabulous dream
come true ....
Inspired by these images and videos and meditating about this place, I
envision how gentle people will meet there, creating important spheres
of a "real dream-world" of spiritual be(-com)ing ...
Being involved in a research project on (practical) wisdom and
integrative forms of life, I realise the urgent need for creating places
like that planned Faerie-home for making an alter-native, "another
birth" of living together possible. Lots of energy and good luck
for all what is to be done to and to let go!
There are no given ways, but only steps for creating them!!!
Thanking you once again for these fabulous steps !!!
Blessed be, Wendelin MERLIN

hello there,
thanks a lot for this detailed information. it
all sounds reasonable to me and I can almost feel the excitement of you
lots when preparing all this. especially the description of the nature
atmosphere sounds very nice to me.
i want to thank you findresses for all your efforts. i know it's been a
long long way and it is still a long long way ahead of the faeries. but
the common aim to have a sacred place for us will contribute to a good
group feeling and every one of us can contribute regarding to his gifts
and abilities! I cant donate money right now, but i can bring stuff to
the auctions and participate in renovation "workshops" which
might be facilitated by our semi-straight faeries who know a lot about
craft! I can share my knowledge about wildlife and landscaping and maybe
be the nature faeries with junis and freny, who knows?
thanks again for all your efforts and i hope to see folleterre some time
soon.
